Ginger Beef is the retro pop collaboration of virtuosic flutist Jiajia Li and veteran producer/multi-instrumentalist MSG. The Calgary-based duo’s brand of infectious pop blends far-reaching influences ranging from jazz and funk to traditional Chinese folk music… with a wink. Ginger Beef debuted their first single and music video, “Flashback” at the Camp Sled Island event in 2021, and performed at the 2022 Sled Island Music Festival.
