Dylan Righton

Audio Engineer

Dylan Righton is an Ontarian, indigenous Digital Audio Arts major from the University of Lethbridge graduating this summer. Focusing on acoustic recordings, mixing, and mastering, he aims to study at McGill University or Stavanger University to expand his knowledge and experience. Growing up in a musical home, music has been a key factor in his life, leading to his post-education and eventual bachelor's in audio recording and production. He has experience recording and assisting in multiple genres of music, including classical, rock, and jazz. He has also gained experience in other facets of the music industry, including live sound and audio for film with projects such as the Inscapes project through the University of British Columbia, and the 2026 short film Strain. Through his undergraduate studies, Dylan also presented research on human perception of digital audio virtually to the Audio Engineering Society.
