Brice Mayfire

Brice Mayfire is an Oklahoman pianist and sound artist with the mission to musically examine everything as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. His recent appearances include the Love Thy Neighbor Tour of the Northeast Oklahoma area, Project Pause: Loving Awareness in collaboration with Norman-based violist Freya Downey, and his self-developed Un-Recital examining the inspirational lineage of Erik Satie. Additionally, being named Baylor University’s first Bill Gates Scholar in 2018, he has advocated for over 1000 students across the USA, educating them on practices in finances, resilience, and academic navigation. Mayfire holds a B.M. in Piano Performance from Baylor University, having studied with Dr. Terry Lynn Hudson.
